The Project

The Bank of America Stadium project focused on creating a high-impact, cinematic video walkthrough to showcase the major architectural renovation and experiential transformation of the venue. As home to both the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and MLS’s Charlotte FC, as well as a premier venue for global concert tours, the stadium required a visual narrative that captured its multi-sport energy and commercial versatility. The goal was to build a fluid story that moves seamlessly from a macro city scale down to the finest interior hospitality details, guiding the viewer through every layer of the fan and player experience.

The Challenge

Visualizing large-scale stadium renovations presents a unique creative hurdle: traditional static 3D rendering often fails to convey the sheer scale, energy, and atmosphere of a live event. The main challenge was to ensure these massive architectural spaces felt genuinely vibrant and full of life, rather than empty or rigid. Furthermore, the narrative needed to clearly communicate the venue's rapid adaptability, demonstrating how the same architecture shifts effortlessly from a high-stakes matchday environment into a full-scale, world-class concert setting.

Our Solution

To solve this, LUSTER VIZ developed an advanced AI-driven animation pipeline instead of relying on traditional 3D rendering workflows. We took the high-resolution architectural renders created by HOK and applied precise modifications to prepare them for dynamic video generation. Using these renders as exact starting and ending keyframes, we leveraged AI tools to interpolate natural motion, atmospheric lighting transitions, and dense crowd dynamics while maintaining total fidelity to HOK’s original architectural design.

The narrative journey was carefully directed to guide the viewer into the heart of the action, starting with players emerging from the tunnel into an electric bowl atmosphere for both NFL and MLS matches.

The camera then moves into the exclusive interior spaces to highlight luxury hospitality, before revealing the venue's ultimate spatial versatility.

The final animation successfully bridges the gap between architectural accuracy and cinematic emotion. By merging HOK’s design expertise with cutting-edge AI animation techniques, LUSTER VIZ produced a lively, atmospheric, and highly compelling visual asset. The resulting videos demonstrate not only the stadium’s multi-purpose capability and vibrant atmosphere, but also showcase how AI workflows can elevate architectural storytelling to an entirely new level.
