CTC Residential
Located in Tomball, Texas, this residential development was conceived as a community-focused environment where architecture, landscape, and lifestyle come together to create a welcoming and vibrant place to live. The project consists of 12 residential buildings thoughtfully positioned within a large site, allowing the development to maximize open spaces while preserving a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
The main challenge was to capture the essence of the 19th century, presenting American tradition in a coherent and evocative setting.
The entire design had to respect and reflect the rich history of the place, while incorporating innovative elements that pushed the concept beyond the conventional.
The Strategy: From Master Plan to Focal Point
From the earliest planning stages, the design prioritized generous green areas and pedestrian-friendly outdoor environments. Rather than treating landscaping as a secondary element, nature became a central component of the project, shaping the way residents experience the community on a daily basis. Tree-lined pathways, gathering areas, and recreational spaces create opportunities for relaxation, social interaction, and a stronger connection with the outdoors.

The architectural language draws inspiration from the character and traditions of Texas residential design, blending timeless materials and familiar forms with a contemporary approach to community living. The result is a development that feels both rooted in its local context and designed for modern lifestyles.
A carefully curated collection of amenities enhances the resident experience throughout the site. These include a clubhouse designed as a social hub for the community, a resort-style swimming pool, dedicated children's play areas, and a variety of outdoor spaces that encourage recreation and interaction among residents. Together, these elements help foster a sense of belonging and contribute to a dynamic and engaging living environment.
A key objective of the project was to communicate the atmosphere and functionality of the development throughout different moments of the day. To achieve this, the design was visualized in both daytime and nighttime settings, highlighting how architecture, landscape, lighting, and amenities work together to create a safe, inviting, and visually appealing environment around the clock.
More than a residential complex, this project represents a vision for community-oriented living—one where quality architecture, thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces, and lifestyle-driven amenities combine to create a place residents are proud to call home.
