CTC Residential
We worked with Sean and the CTC Residential team.
They tasked us to propose a concept revitalizing a large green space in Kyle, Texas. Situated between a residential building, a restaurant, and overlooking the creek.
Our objective was to eliminate spatial barriers, propose concepts that integrated the community, and ensure the design was logical and compliant with regulations.
The main challenge was to design the space with distinct areas without creating marked spatial limits, specifically avoiding fences. This approach allowed different generations to coexist harmoniously in the same space.
Integrating specific details was crucial for the project's success:
Splash Pads: We included water play areas to attract families and children.
Food Truck Space: Considering the usual functionality of such developments in Texas, we dedicated a space for food trucks.
Multiple Shaded Areas: Creating shaded areas was key to providing comfort for visitors.
Path with Scenic Creek Views: We reinforced the idea of a long path with scenic views of the creek, which was about 30 feet lower in the terrain.
